Floral Trends 2023 and 2024

Wedding Color Trends, Wedding Floral Misc., Wedding Personals, Wedding Reception, What the experts are saying

I’m excited about what’s coming up in 2023 and 2024. All of our couples are becoming more and more creative and open-minded when it comes to their big day. As an artist, there is nothing that I love more than being able to create one-of-a-kind designs. Let’s be real we live in a world of social media and it opens up our minds to endless possibilities. We are so excited about the New Floral Trends 2023 and 2024

Dealing with the massive flower shortages that came after covid allowed us to think outside the box when it comes to making your wedding look amazing and this is where the creativity of a professional floral design team came into play.

Times are changing and it is ok to get rid of rules and traditions and express yourself through your own rules and creativity. It’s your day and your design should be just that YOURS!

Many of our clients are looking for the wow factor. They want to be able to feature their weddings on Instagram, social media, and wedding blogs.

From what we have seen with upcoming clients here are our predictions for 2023 & 2024

Bright and Bold Flowersbold florals

While blushes and pastel hues are always in style many of our couples are going for bolder floral colors. We are seeing purples, orange, muted fall colors, hot pinks, and soft blues. With couples having time to scroll through social media their world of colors has expanded taking inspiration from all over the world.

Texture is key

Unique floral combos with different tiered candles as well as unique vases and containers to create clusters and dimensions have been a big request from our up-and-coming clients. We are even seeing more candle clusters with little to no flowers and statement pieces for the grand entrance, bridal table, and ceremony instead of the reception.

Keeping it Organic

Organic arrangements have been all the buzz lately. From greens to embracing the imperfection of flowers. Couples are loving the organic look. Allowing flowers to flow versus the round centerpieces we have seen throughout the years. Having flow, dimension and the perfect way imperfect flowers flow has been our latest buzz. I’m a sucker for this look, it shows in my shop arrangements. How can I love flowers as much as I do and not love how differently every one of them turns, twists, and grows?

It’s all about the Drama

Well not really we all know drama is not what we want in life but in flowers, I’ll take it! The go big or go home style is where it’s at. Suspended floral arrangements, chandeliers a combination of colors that you wouldn’t think go well together but are simply amazing. From deconstructed bouquets to unconventional boutonnieres. Unique flowers that bring drama are being requested more and more.

Let’s Mix it up.

It’s no longer about your typical hydrangeas and roses we want more. From multiple arrangements on a table to a mix of highs and lows or candles with bud vases. Variety is everything. Allowing your guests’ eyes to wonder in amazement at all the beautiful colors, heights and textures is a great way to make your decor stand out with originality.

Hello Statements

Walk down that aisle with pride surrounded by flowers. From tall pedestals with large arrangements going down the aisle to rows of flowers submerged from the ground up going down the aisle couples are embracing the many possibilities of statement pieces at their ceremony. It’s magical when your ceremony feels like a page cut out of a fairytale.

Say Goodbye to your typical arches

Custom-built structures and incredible background pieces like fountains or fireplaces draped in flowers. Unique floral half moons, floral chandeliers, and much more possibilities. We are seeing more and more couples that are letting us run with their vision and allowing us to create one-of-a-kind ceremony backdrops for their big day.

These are a few of our favorite Floral Trends 2023 and 2024. We can’t wait to show them off. As a certified floral designer as well as an interior design, I love creating unique designs for our clients, and my team of expert florists and I are always up for the challenge.
